What does a pet photography session include?

Your session is designed to capture your pet’s personality in a relaxed, fun environment. After the session, you’ll view your images during a gallery reveal and choose your favorites for artwork or digital files.

Where do sessions take place?

Most pet photography sessions in New Braunfels and the Texas Hill Country take place outdoors in scenic locations such as fields, parks, or trails. Sessions can also take place in your home or another meaningful location.

Do dogs need to be trained?

No training is required. I work with dogs of all personalities—from energetic puppies to shy rescue dogs—and use treats, toys, and patience to capture natural expressions.

What if my dog cannot be off leash?

That’s completely fine. Your dog can stay safely on leash during the session, and I remove the leash during professional editing.

Can I be in the photos with my pet?

Yes! Many clients love being included in the photos. These portraits often become some of the most meaningful images from the session.

How long does a session last?

Most dog photography sessions last about 45 minutes to one hour, giving your pet time to relax and show their personality.

What should I bring?

Bring a few simple items:

• Your dog’s favorite treats

• A favorite toy

• Water

• A leash and collar or harness

After your session, you’ll enjoy a gallery reveal where you’ll see your pet’s images and select your favorites.
